The Baby Run

A community event for parents to run with their babies, build strength, and connect.

I started Baby Run because it's what I wanted from my maternity leave - an opportunity to get outside, move my body and meet other like-minded mothers who want to get sweaty and rebuild their fitness after babies!

We currently meet weekly at Trinity Bellwoods - check out the Baby Run Instagram for the next event. 

What can I expect?

A 20 minute easy-paced (conversational) run through Trillium Park followed by a 20 minute targeted strength workout. Bring your trainers, water and a yoga mat if you have one!

Who can join?

  • Parents and caregivers who have been medically cleared to return to running and movement.
  • All paces and fitness levels welcome — whether you're 3 months or 3 years postpartum, starting from scratch or getting back to regular running 3 months postpartum or 3+ years, this is for you.
  • Come alone or bring a friend — everyone is welcome.

Can I bring my baby?

  • Absolutely! If you plan to run with you baby in a stroller, please ensure they have full head and neck control (typically 6+ months) and are safe to be in a jogging stroller during running
  • If your baby isn't quite there yet, join us for a walk + workout
